FRANKFORT, Ky. - Kentucky State University and head coach Rob Henry has released the 2026 baseball schedule, featuring a 50-game slate highlighted by key SIAC matchups, in-state rivalries, and nonconference challenges across the region.

Kentucky State opens the new season with a four-game neutral-site series against perennial Mountain East contender West Virginia State from Jan. 31–Feb. 1 in Johnson City, Tennessee. The Thorobreds then hit the road for consecutive doubleheaders at Shorter University on Feb. 7–8, marking the program's final tune-up before entering conference play.

The chase for a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) title begins Feb. 14 at Albany State, followed by another pivotal road series at Savannah State. Kentucky State returns to the Capital City on Feb. 28 for its SIAC home opener against Benedict College, launching a three-game weekend set at Bill Evans Field.

Throughout March and April, the Thorobreds will navigate a challenging conference slate that includes home series against Miles, Edward Waters, LeMoyne-Owen, Lane, Spring Hill, and Morehouse. Kentucky State will close the regular season at home on April 25, hosting Morehouse on Senior Day Weekend.

The nonconference docket brings several marquee opportunities, including road contests at Division I Murray State on March 10 and at regional power Lincoln Memorial on March 17. Kentucky State will also visit Division I Eastern Kentucky on April 14 and travel to the P&G Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy on April 15 for a matchup against Wilberforce in Cincinnati. The Thorobreds will host Shawnee State on April 21 for their final nonconference home date of the season.
