MACON, Ga. – Kentucky State baseball ended the 2026 season with a 15-2, seven-inning loss to No. 5 Morehouse in the elimination game of the 2026 SIAC Baseball Championship in Macon, Georgia.
The Thorobreds struck first in the top of the first inning.
Brady Wooldridge opened the game with a walk, moved to third on a passed ball and a wild pitch, then scored on
Ryan Campbell's sacrifice fly to left field to give Kentucky State a 1-0 lead.
Morehouse answered with a run in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth before breaking the game open with seven runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth.
Kentucky State added its second run in the fourth. Campbell led off with a single to right field,
Jonathan Padgett followed with a single up the middle, and
Haruta Endo brought Campbell home with an RBI single to center.
The Thorobreds finished with five hits. Campbell went 1-for-2 with a run scored, an RBI, a walk and a sacrifice fly. Padgett, Endo,
Harrison Barnes and
Preston Jones each added a hit. Wooldridge scored Kentucky State's first run, while Endo and Campbell drove in one run apiece.
Kentucky State concluded the 2026 season with a 13-36 overall record and a 12-21 mark in SIAC play.
