                     DENMARK, S.C.  –  After a tough opening weekend at Shorter, Kentucky State baseball heads to Denmark, South Carolina for three-game series against the Voorhees Tigers Feb. 7th-8th.
 
On Friday (Feb. 7) a single-game will be played beginning at 1 p.m., the doubleheader will begin Saturday (Feb. 8) at noon.
 
During the 2022 season the two last met, with the Thorobreds taking the first game (Feb. 2) 11-4 and the second game (Feb. 13) 10-4 in Denmark, South Carolina.
 
The Tigers will be opening their 2025 season against the Thorobreds this weekend. During the 2024 Vorhees finished 13-30 on the season and 4-7 in Centennial Conference. This season the Tigers will be competing in the HBCU Athletic Conference.
 
Kentucky State began their 2025 campaign on the road with a pair of losses to the Shorter Hawks.  At the plate Junior infielder 
Brad Dossett led the series with two hits that included a double. Sophomore infielder 
Gavyn Minyard also put a double in the scorebook as well.
 
Following their series at Voorhees, Kentucky State will head to Atlanta, Georgia for a SIAC series with Morehouse Feb. 15-16.
