HARROGATE, Tenn. – Kentucky State baseball heads to Harrogate, Tenn. to face the Lincoln Memorial Railspliters (22-13, 14-10 SAC) in a midweek contest.

THE MATCHUP
In an early-season matchup on Feb. 27, the Railsplitters narrowly defeated the Thorobreds 5-4. Kelton Saylor, Parker White, and Collier Higgs each contributed two hits, leading the Thorobreds, who out-hit the Railsplitters with a total of 10 hits.

A LOOK AT THE THOROBREDS
Amongst the nation the Thorobreds have found their place on the statistical leaderboard, with 49 hits on the season Saylor to lead the SIAC and rank 88th among Division II. His teammate White is second in the SIAC with 48 hits he also is third in the SIAC with 51 runs this season. With 49 strikeouts Solomon Reed ranks second in the SIAC.

ABOUT THE RAILSPLITTERS
Lincoln Memorial is 22-13 on the season and 14-10 in South Atlantic Conference play to put them near the middle of their conference. Currently the Railsplitters are on a three game winning streak with a sweep of conference opponent Emory and Henry College.
