Box Score FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State's baseball team clashed with the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, with a late eighth-inning run securing a 5-4 victory for Lincoln Memorial.
Jayden Clark had a standout performance, hitting 1 for 2 with a home run in the second inning, scoring two runs and drawing two walks.
Parker White earned two hits in five at-bats, scoring one run and notching one RBI.

Collier Higgs, and center fielder
Kelton Saylor, each recorded two hits, with Higgs contributing a double.
How It Happened
Mitchell Collins singled right out of the starting gate, advancing
Collier Higgs to second and sending Parker
White home to score, giving Kentucky State a 1-0 lead at the end of the first inning.
Clark hit a home run in the top of the second inning, extending Kentucky State's lead to 2-0 after two innings.
In the fourth inning, Clark scored on a wild pitch, and White followed with a single to center field that drove in
Bakari Rush. Lincoln Memorial scored their first run in the bottom of the fourth, narrowing Kentucky State's lead to 4-1.
The Railsplitters added one run in the fifth inning and in the seventh inning they added two more tie the game 4-4 through seven innings.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Lincoln Memorial scored on a double to center field, bringing in the final runs of the evening and securing a 5-4 victory.
