ALBANY, Ga.  – The Thorobreds are looking to end the four game win streak as they take on conference opponent Albany State in a three game series beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 22. 
 
Late into the season the Golden Rams are 27-8 on the season with a near perfect 24-2 SIAC record. In their last conference matchup, they swept Miles 3-0 and followed that with a nonconference win to Georgia Southwestern. 
 
Kentucky State won their series with Clark Atlanta 2-1 leading to a conference record of 15-9 and 17-17 overall. Joseph Esparza continues that guy at the plate holding a batting average of .432 , 64 RBI, 54 hits, 41 runs and 16 home runs. Eric Turner leads Kentucky State at the mound pitching 66 strikeouts in 63.2 innings.
