MOBILE, Ala.  – Kentucky State baseball will head to Mobile, Alabama, for a three game series with SIAC opponent, the Spring Hill College Badgers. The series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25, and follow with a single game on Sunday, March 25, at the Historic Sims-Galle Field.Â

The Thorobreds have four out of their last six SIAC contests, picking up one win against Miles and a 3-0 road sweep at Tuskegee to move to 9-4 in conference play and 10-9 overall.Â

Joseph Esparza has continued to have a record-breaking year as he has 13 home runs so far this season and now holds the record for most home runs in a season. He also averages .464 at the plate and leads the Thorobreds with 32 hits, nine doubles, one triple, and 41 RBIs.Â

Spring Hill is 12-12 on the season and 10-4 in SIAC play at home they are 4-7. In their last five games, they have won two of them, both against Miles.Â

Bryson Kirk leads the Badgers at the plate with a batting average of .355 another player to look out for is Norris McClure, who leads the badgers with 32 hits and bats .340 this season.
