TIFFIN, Ohio – In day one of the Tiffin University Kyle Ryman Memorial the Kentucky State men's golf team
recorded a team score of 589, positioning them in eighth place heading into the final round.  
 
Max Dufey, had a day one total score of 143 by posting rounds of 73 and 70, tying for 11th place individually.
 
Micah Stangebye contributed with scores of 76 and 73, resulting in a total of 149.
 
Rhett Johnson and Jean Marc Chevrotiere, both with scores of 74 and 75, also finished at 149 strokes.
 
Ryan Khounlavong rounded out the team's performance with scores of 81 and 74, totaling 155 and tying for 69th place.
 
The Thorobreds will play 18 holes tomorrow (Oct. 3) in the final round of the Tiffin University Kyle Ryman Memorial at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club.
