LEXINGTON, Ky. –
Micah Stangebye led Kentucky State Men's Golf with a second-round 69 and a tied-for 13th finish at the Saginaw Valley State University Spring Invite at Kearney Hills Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky.
Kentucky State opened the Invite with a first-round 326 and improved by 19 strokes in the final day with a team total of 307, to finished 17th out of 19 teams. Southern Indiana won the tournament with a two-round score of 588.
Stangebye's second round 69 was a top-five best final-round score of the tournament. He opened the first day with a 78.
Cade Kilkenny opened the tournament with an 83 and improved by ten strokes in the final round with a 73.
Jared Southerland stayed consistent both days with a first-round 78 and second-round 79.
Granger Greenwell played as an individual had played strong both with a first and second round score of 78.
