Box Score
Fairfield, Ala.—Kentucky State University baseball fell victim to its fifth walk-off loss of the year on Sunday, dropping the rubber match of a three-game series to Miles College, 11-10.
The Thorobreds (13-25, 7-5) dropped their first SIAC series since mid-March when they fell on the road at Paine College.
"Today's result was disappointing, but there's a lot to take from a game like this," said Head Coach
Rob Henry. "We were our worst enemy early on defensively and a little bit emotionally, but we regrouped behind
Connor Kelley on the mound in in relief to take the lead late. We've got some things to work on in all areas of the game, but effort and energy aren't one of them. Time to learn some lessons and then put it behind us to go play at Cedarville on Tuesday."
KSU will play a single nine inning affair at Cedarville University on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 4 pm ET.
