PUEBLO, Colo. — Kentucky State Track and Field standout
Yumana Lofton capped an impressive 2025 campaign by competing in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the ThunderBowl on the campus of CSU Pueblo.
Lofton, who entered the meet ranked 17th nationally in the men's 200-meter dash, posted a time of 20.80 seconds in Friday's preliminary round. The mark placed him outside the top eight, missing a spot in the event finals.
Despite not advancing, Lofton's appearance at the national championships marked a milestone in his collegiate career and underscored his status as one of the nation's top Division II sprinters this season.
Senior Dapriest Hogans of Pittsburg State secured a finals berth with a time of 20.11, while fellow SIAC sprinter Kibren Moore of Albany State qualified with a 20.53.
