Kentucky State to Host SIAC Inaugural Indoor Championship and Partners with Louisville Urban League for HBCU Championship

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State University Athletics has been selected to host the 2025 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Indoor Track and Field Championship and will partner with the Louisville Urban League to present the HBCU Indoor Track and Field Championship.
 
The SIAC Indoor Championship will take place February 21–22, 2025, at the state-of-the-art Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
In addition, Kentucky State University Athletics has partnered with the Louisville Urban League to present the HBCU Indoor Track and Field Championship. This prestigious event will welcome historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) from across the nation to Louisville on March 7–8, 2025, at the same premier venue.
 
"We are thrilled to host the SIAC Championship and to collaborate with the Louisville Urban League in welcoming HBCU student-athletes from across the nation. This partnership not only showcases incredible talent but also highlights Kentucky as a destination for excellence in athletics, with competitions held at a truly world-class facility." Said Athletics Director Grant Stepp.
 
Both events will be held at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center, a cutting-edge facility known for its ability to host elite athletic competitions and engage
the local community.
