FRANKFORT, Ky. – For the second consecutive year, Kentucky State University has boasted student-athletes named as valedictorians, with
Collier Higgs being honored as the valedictorian of the Class of 2023. In addition, 62 student-athletes will receive graduate and undergraduate degrees.
Out of the undergraduate degrees conferred by Kentucky State University, 30.24% were earned by 62 student-athletes. Among these students, 18 were recognized for their academic achievements, including six who earned Summa Cum Laude distinctions (GPA of 3.80-4.00), five who received Magna Cum Laude honors (GPA of 3.50-3.79), and seven who graduated Cum Laude (GPA of 3.20-3.49) in their respective fields of study.
