FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's basketball will return to the Exum Center as they fellow Kentucky HBCU Simmons College of Kentucky on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. 
 
A Glance at Simmons College
The Falcons are 5-7 (.417) this season. In their last matchup, they lost 68-47 to DI opponent Bellarmine. They are led by Zephaniah Gray, who averages 15 points per game and 33 steals. Andrea Seay is a player to watch for, averaging 13.2 points per game.
 
From the Stable 
The Thorobreds are split 3-3 for the season and 2-2 in SIAC play. They are returning from their first conference road trip with a 73-68 win at Allen and a 68-64 loss at Benedict. 
 
A pair of Thorobreds are scoring in the double digits this season. Hilani Cantone leads her team with 12.7 points per game, followed by Taleah Dilworth, who averages 10.7 points per game. Cantone leads Kentucky State with 6.5 rebounds per game. Her teammate Laurie Thomas is just behind her, averaging 6.3 rebounds per game. 
 
Kentucky State is making national ranks statistically. The Thorobreds rank second in the nation with 21.8 free throws made per game and third averaging 28.6 free throw attempts per game. As a team, they average 24.8 turnovers forced per game, led by Gracen Kerr, who ranks 15th in the nation averaging three steals per game.
