FRANKFORT, Ky. - Head Coach
Timothy Queen has announced his 2021-2022 Kentucky State University cheerleading team.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19, Pandemic tryouts were done in a hybrid format, with three rounds done virtually and one round in person.
After a rigorous multi-round tryout, the 2021-2022 Kentucky State University cheerleading team will consist of 37 cheerleaders and four managers.
The selected members will consist of two groups a game day cheer squad and a co-ed competition team.
There will be three captains this year
Elaina Thompson will be the co-captain;
Christian White will be the men's captain, and
Makayla Reeves will be the head team captain.
The 2021-2022 motto will be "Compete Against Perfection."
