How It Happened
The first quarter put the Clark Atlanta Panthers ahead early with an 11-22, the Thorobreds would outscore the Panthers 15-14 in the second quarter. Kentucky State trailed Clark 36-26 at the half.
Laurie Thomas shifted the momentum in the second half, scoring 18 points that pushed the Thorobreds past the Panthers 20-17 at the end of the third quarter.
Both teams would match each other in the fourth quarter with 15 points, and Clark would take a 68-61 win.
