The Kentucky State University spring sports enter the final three weeks of the regular season, positioning for the conference championships are firmly underway.
GOLF: Thorobreds plays their final regular season tournament, the two-round Midway College Invitational at the Frankfort Country Club, starting 1 p.m. today. Sophomore Rob Duff has consistently paced KSU on the links this season.
SOFTBALL: Kentucky State (16-16 overall, 8-4 SIAC) has six Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games, all on the road, including a pivotal three-game series with Miles College (6-27 overall, 5-6 SIAC) this weekend. Â In a tight West Division, three teams tied with four losses and Miles right behind with six losses, the Thorobreds can inch closer to securing its spot in the tournament by taking the series.
BASEBALL: Coming off a walk-off victory over Spring Hill, Kentucky State (18-13-1 overall, 7-7 SIAC) steps away from conference action with a nine-inning game against the University of Cumberlands before a four-game series with Tuskegee (11-19 overall, 4-6 SIAC).
TRACK & FIELD: The men's and women's track and field team has its final tune-up before next week's SIAC Championships. Kentucky State University takes a short trip to Danville, KY for the Centre College Twilight Meet.
