The Kentucky State University director of athletics will serve on the Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) board of directors.
 
Etienne Thomas will begin serving on the board beginning in July. Thomas was hired at Kentucky State in July 2018. Prior to her arrival at Kentucky State, Thomas served as the associate athletics director of student life at the University of Kansas.
 
D2 ADA provides a collective voice for NCAA Division II athletics directors, a forum to discuss issues that impact the role of Division II athletics directors and a recognized relationship with other athletics director associations and NCAA leadership groups.
