The Kentucky State women's basketball team continues their five-game road trip with a 5:30 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference meeting with Albany State University.
GAME NOTES
THE TEAMS: Kentucky State (3-3) has dropped three straight games since opening the season with three victories. The Thorobreds are coming off a 62-57 loss to Fort Valley State to open SIAC action.
Albany State is coming off its first victory of the season, beating Central State 66-61 Saturday. Alexandria James led the way with 14 points, while Shantrell Holland added 12 points.
THE COACHES:
Terrance Slater is in his third season as the head coach, and fifth season with the program. The Thorobreds are 23-36 in his tenure as a head coach. He led Kentucky State to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinals a season ago. He was an assistant the last time KSU advanced to the SIAC title game.

Brooke Wallace is one of three players in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference averaging a double-double, leading the Thorobreds with 12.2 points and 11.7 rebounds. She 10

Jessie Kee is second on the team in scoring with 9.2 points. Sophomore
Erica Jones is second on the team with 7.8 rebounds to go along with 8.5 points. Junior
