Box Score Florence, Ala. - The Kentucky State University women's volleyball team was defeated by the University of North Alabama Lions, 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-17), in a non-conference women's volleyball match-up on Thursday evening.
The Thorobrettes, coming off an emotional 5-set victory against Trevecca Nazarene on Tuesday, were outmactched by a UNA team that's only lost four matches this season. North Alabama (11-4) had a .293 team attack percentage compared to just .114 for the Thororbettes.
Emily Greishaber had a team-high nine kills.
Anjelique Kyle finished with 22 assists and
Micah Rogers led the team with 14 digs.
Megan Gorey led the Lions with 10 kills. Andrea De Leon had a match-high 34 assists. Ashtyn Kapovich had 17 digs for UNA.
The loss drops the Thorobrettes to 13-8 overall as they prepare to head to Tuscalossa, Ala. for the SIAC West Division Cluster hosted by Stillman College this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4.
