FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's volleyball delivered one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, hitting .362 as a team in a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-13) sweep of Lane on Friday night.
 
Kyeana Biggs paced the Thorobreds with a .462 hitting percentage and eight kills, sharing the team lead with Laila Wheaton, who added a .417 clip. Wheaton also led the match from the service line with three of Kentucky State's nine aces.
 
The Thorobreds opened strong, recording 12 kills — three each from Biggs and Ananiah Huguely — while hitting .333 to take the first set 25-15. A late 6-2 run and a -.057 hitting percentage from the Dragons powered Kentucky State to a 25-14 win in the second frame.
 
In the final set, Biggs and Wheaton combined for eight of the team's 15 kills as the Thorobreds posted a dominant .636 hitting percentage to close out the match 25-13
