MOBILE, Ala. – Kentucky State, the No. 3 seed in the West Division, will open the quarterfinals of the 2025 SIAC Women's Volleyball Championship on Thursday, Nov. 20, against East Division No. 2 seed Albany State at 5 p.m. in Mobile, Ala.
 
The Thorobreds closed the regular season winning four of their final five games to finish 8-11 in SIAC play and 9-23 overall.
 
Since 2011, the Thorobreds and Golden Rams have met 27 times, with Albany State holding a 19-8 advantage in the series.
 
Albany State enters Thursday's match on a four-game win streak, improving to 16-15 overall and 15-4 in SIAC play.
 
The match will be streamed on the SIAC Sports Network.
