FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State softball earned the SIAC team academic award, while 107 student-athletes received conference academic honors for the 2025-26 academic year.
 
Kentucky State softball led all Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball programs with a 3.635 team GPA to earn the team academic award.
 
In addition, 11 student-athletes earned SIAC All-Academic Team honors, and 94 were named to the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team.
 
Student-athletes with GPAs of 3.2 or higher named to the 2025-26 SIAC All-Academic Team were Christopher Towns, Eric Hogan Jr. and Jeremiah Swartz in football; Zhakeya Hawkins in women's cross country and women's indoor track and field; Josiah Marsh in men's indoor track and field and men's outdoor track and field; Samiah Rembert in women's indoor track and field; Ignace Ntagara in men's volleyball; and Jorden Bowmen and LillieAnn Hollom in softball.
 
Kentucky State's academic success continued as 94 student-athletes posted GPAs of 3.4 or higher and earned SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic honors. The complete list is below.
