FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is celebrating the academic achievements of its student-athletes, who posted a combined 3.26 grade-point average for the spring 2025 term.
 
A total of 36 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA, while 156 finished the semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, reflecting the department's continued commitment to academic excellence.
 
The softball program led all teams with a 3.84 GPA, topping both men's and women's programs. Men's golf paced the men's programs with a 3.52 GPA for the term.
 
Five additional programs posted team GPAs above 3.0, including baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and women's volleyball.
 
Across all sports, KSU student-athletes currently maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.02.
