FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State dropped its conference weekend series against Miles, falling 3-0 at home.
The Thorobreds managed to convert seven hits into six runs in a 17-6 loss in game one, which ended in seven innings.
Zion Lewis went 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs.

Kendall Garland, and Ashton Renfro each recorded a double in the game.
In the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, Kentucky State out-hit Miles 10-9 but fell 22-7. AJ Jackson and
Parker White each went 2-for-3, while Garland added two hits in four at-bats, finishing with two RBIs and one run scored.
Miles completed the sweep with an 11-2 victory on Sunday, collecting 11 hits to Kentucky State's six.
Bakari Rush led the Thorobreds with two hits in four at-bats, including a double. Lewis and Gabriel Rivas each recorded a stolen base.
UP NEXT
Kentucky State will head to Harrogate, Tennessee on March 11 for a single game against Lincoln Memorial at 4:00 p.m.
