MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After a tough Mini-Homecoming loss to Central State, Kentucky State men's basketball looks to bounce back at LeMoyne-Owen on Monday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. in Memphis, Tennessee.
Senior guard
Lavar Miller Jr. leads the nation from beyond the arc, with and average of 4.4 three-pointers per game, 88 three-pointers made, and 231 three-point attempts this season. He also leads the Thorobreds averaging 19.1 points per game.
The Thorobreds (10-10, 7-8 SIAC) dropped their Mini-Homecoming bought with the Central State Marauders 91-85 and moved to fourth in the SIAC West Division.
Kentucky State defeated LeMoyne-Owen 72-69 on Jan. 27 and are looking to not only continue to lead the all-time series at 14-12 but move their win streak against the Magicians to three on Monday.
LeMoyne-Owen is 3-18 on the season and 3-11 SIAC play that puts them sixth in the SIAC West Division.
