BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Kentucky State women's basketball will meet NCAA Division I opponent Bowling Green for a midweek exhibition on Wednesday, Dec. 3. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. live on ESPN+.
The two will meet for the first time since 1983, when the Falcons edged the Thorobreds 74-71 in their only previous meeting.
Bowling Green enters the contest on a two-game win streak, most recently defeating Purdue Fort Wayne 56-53 on Nov. 30 to move to 3-4 on the season. A pair of Falcons are averaging in double figures, led by Paige Kholer with 14.6 points per game and Johnea Donahue with 13.4 points per game.
The Thorobreds are looking to rebound after a 78-63 loss to nonconference opponent Lee that put them at 2-5 on the season while remaining 2-3 in SIAC play. In their last outing,
Amina Seck led the way with 18 points and six rebounds. Additionally, two more Thorobreds scored in double figures:
Saniah Sandlin with 11 points and
Aaliyah Hayes with 10 points.
