FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State women's basketball will remain at home as they hosts nonconference opponent Lee on Monday, Dec. 1. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. inside the William Exum Center and will be streamed live on the SIAC Sports Network.
The Thorobreds enter Monday after a tough 69–53 loss to conference opponent Spring Hill on Friday, Nov. 29. Kentucky State moved to 2-4 on the season and 2-3 in conference play.
Aaliyah Hayes leads Kentucky State, averaging 9.7 points per game, and
Amina Seck leads the Thorobreds with 5.8 rebounds per game.
Lee enters the matchup at 2-1 on the year after falling 89–78 to No. 16 Ashland. The Flames are also receiving votes in the WBCA Coaches Top 25 poll (Nov. 25). Libby Privett leads the Flames, averaging 19.3 points per game. Her teammate Anna Muhonen is currently averaging a double-double with 16.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.
The teams have met only once prior to Monday's matchup, with the Flames defeating the Thorobreds 77–54 in Jackson, Tennessee, on Nov. 23, 2024.
