FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team for the upcoming 2024 football season and five Thorobreds were named to this year's squad.
This year's All-Commonwealth selections from Kentucky State are Bryce Hayes, Markel Cotton, Walter McClinton, Jaydon Green and Monte Davis.
Defensive end Bryce Hayes ended the 2023 season with 25 tackles, two tackles for a loss of 13 yards and three sacks.
In hist first year at Kentucky State wide receiver Markel Cotton averaged 52.78 receiving yards per game for a total of 475 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Offensive Lineman Walter McClinton played in seven games during the 2023 season.
Defensive lineman Monte Davis had ten tackles on the season with two tackles for a loss of 14 yards and had a game of five tackles on the road at Allen (9/16/2023).
Punter Jaydon Green had nine punts inside the 20 and amassed over 1,397 punt yards during the 2023 season.
