CHICAGO — Kentucky State women's basketball begins their 2024-25 season in an exhibition against Loyola University Chicago on Monday, Nov. 1. The contest will tip from the Gentile Arena at 5 p.m. CT in Chicago, Illinois and featured on ESPN+.
Kentucky State is entering this game after a successful 2023-24 season where they finished 21-7 overall and 15-4 in SIAC play that earned them a share of the SIAC West Division Regular Season Championship and a runner-finish at the 2024 SIAC Basketball Championship.
Head coach Amani Williams, entering her second season leading the program, was the youngest head coach in NCAA Division II women's basketball and was named the 2024 SIAC Coach of the Year.
The Ramblers have already begun their 2024-25 season with a dominating 108-41 exhibition win over Elmhurst (Oct. 27). Five Ramblers scored in the double-figures and was led by 21 points from freshman Brooklyn Vaughn, she was followed closely by Jess Finney with 20 points.
