CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Kentucky State women's basketball team (2-2, 1-0 SIAC) is set to take on undefeated Lee University (4-0, 0-0 GSC), ranked No. 2 in the D2CSC South Region, on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. in Paul Dana Walker Arena in Cleveland, Tennessee.
The Thorobreds are coming off a dominant 94-65 victory over Simmons on Nov. 19.
Khalia Bryant and
Mondrea Williams each posted their second double-doubles of the season. Bryant led Kentucky State with 17 points, shooting 75% from the free-throw line and adding seven field goals. Williams contributed 14 points, a team-high 11 rebounds, and three blocks.
Lee enters the matchup with a perfect 4-0 record, most recently defeating Bryan College 70-37 on Nov. 18. Mallory Hampton leads the Flames with an average of 18.5 points per game and has totaled 19 assists this season.
