Lavar Miller Jr. score 21 points in 77-71 loss over league opponent Clark Atlanta.
Shooting over 81% (9-of-11) from the field drove
Brandon Hill to score 21 points. His teammate
Lavar Miller Jr. shot over 55% (5-of-9) from long range to score 21 points.
Making 14 shots from the field and five three-pointers a step back jumper in at the end of the first half led to a one point 40-39 Kentucky State lead at halftime.
Kentucky State held the lead for 11:14 in the second half and had a seven-point lead at the 9:32 mark of the second half. The Panthers went on a late run and made their final points of the night at the charity stripe to defeat the Thorobreds 77-71.
