FRANKFORT, Ky. – Season ticket renewals for the 2023 Kentucky State football season are available now. 
 
Kentucky State football will enter the 2023 season under new leadership as former NFL wide receiver Felton Huggins Jr. takes the helm. Since his first day on The Hill, he has begun to make an impact in the community and within his program. During spring football, he has seen significant improvement from returners and newcomers, including Jimmy Edmonds, Jaylen Johnson, Brandon Wade, Jeremiah Owens, Devonte Bankston, and Jalen Silver. 

"Our fan, community, and alumni are going will be excited to see the great tradition of championship caliber football back to the Frankfort area." Head Coach Huggins said. 
 
Coach Huggins Jr. will make his regular-season debut to the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent, the Clark Atlanta Panthers, on Aug. 31 inside Alumni Stadium. 
 
Along with the home opener on Aug. 31 against Clark Atlanta, the Thorobreds will host Tuskegee (Sept. 9), Fort Valley State (Sept. 23), Albany State for homecoming on Sept. 30 and close out their home schedule to rival Central State on Nov. 4.
 
Fans looking to renew their season tickets should check their email for an email from Hometown Ticketing with their unique renewal code. Fans who have not received their code or need assistance should email the ticket office at athletics@kysu.edu. 
 
Season Passes will open to the public on Jun. 26, and they can purchase their tickets at www.ksuthorobreds.com/tickets; ticket packages start at $60.
