Kentucky State Track and Field Prepared for 2023 Outdoor Season

Frankfort, Ky. - Kentucky State track and field looks to build off a successful indoor season as they open their 2023 outdoor schedule at the Falcon Classic on March 17-18 in Montevallo, Alabama. 
 
During the 2022-23 indoor season, the Thorobreds not only hosted a national Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU) meet, numerous Thorobreds posted personal and season best. 
 
Things are looking good for the Thorobreds, "We are rejuvenated after a down season in 2022. The team has great energy and will be highly competitive in the SIAC this year.", Athletic Director and head track and field coach Ramon Johnson said. 
 
Following the Falcon Classic, Kentucky State will travel to Atlanta, Georgia, for the Morehouse Relays on March 23-25. 
 
Upon returning from Georgia, the Thorobreds will head to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational on March 30-1. 
 
On April 6-8, the Thorobreds will head to Knoxville, Tennessee, for the Tennessee Relays. 
 
The Thorobreds will finish their outdoor season at the Brescia Bearcat Invitational on April 14 while ending their regular season at the Erdmann Twilight Meet on April 21-22. 
 
The 2023 SIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship will take place from April 27-29, with the location of that meet to be announced soon.
