FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State Men's Volleyball fell to SIAC opponent Fort Valley State 0-3 Friday afternoon in Bell Gymnasium.
The first set was a battle with the lead changing three times, and the score was tied eight times. Late in the first set, the Wildcats gained momentum and took the set 25-23.
Jamal Singleton led Kentucky State with three blocks, and the Thorobreds led the set with five.
Both teams stayed close early in the second set, but the Wildcats would gain momentum late and win the set 25-13.
In the first 22 points of the third set, the Wildcats held a 12-11 lead. Both teams tied eight times, and the lead changed eight times. Fort Valley won the set 25-15 and won the match 0-3.
