FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State Men's Volleyball Sweeps SIAC opponent Morehouse 3-0 in their final home contest of the season.
Jordan Howard led the first set with five kills assisting the Thorobreds to 16 kills.
Montinas Peterson Jr tallied seven assists, and
Kade Andruski earned six in the dominant first set. The Thorobreds won the set 25-14.
Kentucky State continued to control the match as they took the second set 25-14 and led the match 2-0.
The Maroon Tigers attempted to rally in the third set, tying the set 11 times with the lead changing nine times. Kentucky State outlasted the Maroon Tigers 25-19 to win the match with a 3-0 sweep.
Javier Saldivar led the match will nine digs; his teammate
Jamal Gray earned eight. Howard led the Thorobreds will eleven kills, and
Jamal Singleton earned one block.
