FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State men's basketball drops a midweek bought with SIAC opponent Morehouse State 62-80, Wednesday evening from the William Exum Center.
The Thorobreds would lead the Maroon Tigers 38-37 at the end of the first half. Kentucky State would lead the half, shooting 48.4% (15-of-31) from the field and 40% (6-of-15) from long range.
Montrell Jacobs would lead Kentucky State with ten points, and
Jalon Andrews would start his path to a double-double with nine points and five rebounds.
Morehouse would take control in the second after 43-24 2nd half lead and win the contest 80-62.
Shamon Mosley and Jacobs led their team with 13 points each. Andrews earned a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.
