FRANKFORT, Ky. – Second Street School rooted Kentucky State men's basketball to a 72-70 victory against Ohio Dominican.
To celebrate the local community Kentucky State Athletics and men's basketball hosted Second Street School. Their choir would kick off the festivities by singing the national anthem and their football team was recognized for their outstanding season and their cheer team performed at halftime.
A rough first half from Kentucky State would allow Ohio Dominican to hold a 31-26 halftime lead.
In the second half Kentucky State would shoot 50% from long range and 66.7% from the charity stripe to outscore the Panthers 46-39 and secure a 72-70 lead.
