TIFFIN, Ohio – The Kentucky State men's basketball team dropped their road opener to the Tiffin Dragons 91-79 in Tiffin, Ohio.
The Thorobreds would trail the Dragons 46-38 at the end of the half. Tiffin would lead the second half outscoring the Thorobreds 45-41 and defeat Kentucky State 91-79.
Montrell Jacobs would shoot 6-of-7 from the free throw line and lead Kentucky State with 21 points. Along with his high-scoring performance, he would tally six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Josh Cross would shoot 5-of-9 from the field, 50% from long range, and 100% from the charity strike. His teammate
Kong Kong would shoot 50% from the free-throw line and from the field to tally 10 points.
