Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. – A jumper with nine seconds remaining provided the margin as the Kentucky State University women's basketball team fell to Lane College Thursday, 58-57, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the JF Lane Gymnasium.

Senior Victoria Blankenship (Fayetteville, N.C.) and junior Erica Jones (South Haven, Miss.) scored 12 points each to lead the Thorobreds.

Kentucky State (7-17 overall, 4-13 SIAC) returns home 4 p.m. Saturday to face Central State in the regular-season finale.
