The Kentucky State University men's basketball team lost to Miles College Monday, 82-54, in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the William Exum Center.
Kentucky State (9-15 overall, 6-11 SIAC) travels to Lane 8:30 p.m. EST Thursday.
TURNING POINT
A 20-1 Miles run over the last 6:21 of the first half pushed the Thorobreds' halftime deficit to 19.
INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
Senior
Jordan Little (Jersey City, N.J.) was the lone Kentucky State player in double figures with 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting and four rebounds.
Sophomore
Aaron Howard (Ypsilanti, Mich.) added eight points, the most he has scored in an SIAC contest, on 3-of-6 shooting with four rebounds and both of KSU's blocks.
Graduate
Shaq Athie (Cincinnati, Ohio) pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.

"It's disappointing to lose on any night," said Kentucky State University head coach
Jamaal Jackson. "But to lose when we knew what to expect, we knew what we were going to see and knew what we needed to do, and we still didn't execute on either end of the floor, that was the most disappointing part."
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Freshman point guard Jalen Fisher (Ypsilanti, Mich.), the smallest guy on the court, pulled down a team-high three offensive rebounds. Kentucky State only had eight offensive rebounds.
