SCOUTING THE BADGERS: Spring Hill College enters the contest as the last-place team in the West Division of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), two games behind the Thorobreds. The Badgers, winners of two straight, come off their most recent win against Lane College. Despite the record, the Badgers are top five in the SIAC in scoring offense (74.4 ppg), free-throw percentage (70.8 percent) assists (13.9 apg) and offensive rebounds (13.0 rpg).
The Badgers' struggles come on defense, where the team ranks last in scoring defense (88.3 ppg) and field-goal percent defense (48.7 percent). Additionally, the Badgers are second-to-last in the SIAC in scoring margin (-13.9).

Shellman leads the SIAC in minutes (36.1 mpg) and rebounding (9.4 rpg). He also leads the team in assists (2.9 apg) and field-goal percentage (55.2 percent). Additionally,

Rogers leads the team with 35 three-pointers made on a team-high 96 attempts.

Shaq Athie are amongst the SIAC leaders in rebounding. 
Athie is second in the SIAC with 9.1 rebounds per game, with the vast majority coming on the defensive end. He is also second in the SIAC in defensive rebounding averaging 6.8 per game. 
Little is fourth in the SIAC with 8.5 rebounds per game and is second in the league in offensive rebounding. 
Athie has eclipsed double-digit rebounds seven times this year. He also leads Kentucky State in assists and steals.
