Wilberforce, Ohio.—Junior middle blocker Landri Greathouse turned in 21 kills and nine blocks, as Kentucky State University wrapped up the second day of the SIAC Cluster at Central State University with wins against Miles College and Lane College.

The Thorobrettes (13-7, 9-2) finished the two-day cluster by going 3-2 overall and picking up three consecutive wins.
Next up, KSU will travel to Danville, Kentucky for a matchup with Centre College on Wednesday. First serve is set for 6 pm ET.

The Thorobrettes swept their way past the Golden Bears for the win, but MC presented a challenge in the first two sets pushing KSU to the limit. The Thorobrettes came away with 25-23 set wins, riding the momentum into the third and final frame for a 25-14 win.
Freshman outside hitter
Robin Poole slammed a game-high 11 kills, with Greathouse picking up eight in the first match of the day, along with four blocks. Sophomore setter
Hannah Smyers added another 20 or more assists game to her season with a match-high 28.

After a three-hour layoff, KSU dropped its first set to the Lady Dragons, 25-20. The following three sets belonged solely to the Thorobrettes, winning each set by eight or more points. KSU outmatched MC with a 47-20 kill advantage and a combined 10 aces to the oppositions' four.
Greathouse caused problems all match, registering team-highs in both kills with 13 and blocks with five.
The freshman duo of outside hitter
Makayla Martin and middle blocker Jaylnn Roberts combined for 21 kills. Martin picked up 11, with Roberts drilling 10.
Smyers recorded a match-high 33 assists and eight digs in the victory.
