Nandi Taylor
Nandi Taylor (5'5/Point Guard/Owens Community College)
Averaged 8.1 ppg, 5 apg
2012-13 Highlights
Excerpt taken from owensexpress.com article.
"In her one year, Taylor helped the Express capture an Ohio Community College Athletic Association (OCCAC) title and a Region XII District I championship. Following that, Taylor led the Express to a seventh place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament, the program's highest finish in its current format. The team also finished No. 9 in the final NJCAA D-II national poll."
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "We look for Nandi to bring leadership and quickness to the perimeter.  She has a very high basketball IQ and likes to set the tone defensively.  We look for her to be a floor general for our team. We like the fact that she is able to play at a fast tempo and still be able to make smart decisions in transition. We are very excited to have her as part of our basketball family."

Shakira Walker
Shakira Walker (5'7/Guard/Dakota College at Bottineau)
Averaged 14.7 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg (49.5% FG, 43.8% 3pt FG)
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "Shakira will bring scoring, defense and a high basketball IQ to our team. More importantly her ability to play the combo guard role for us will be a key factor in our offensive schemes. She also has the ability to shoot the 3-point shot, which will spread the floor for us and open up a lot more driving opportunities."

Crystal Allen
Crystal Allen (6'2/Center/Central Georgia Technical College)
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "Crystal brings shot blocking ability and rebounding which is a key to success for our team.  Her length alone will give us an edge defensively.  She fits our style of play because of her ability to run the floor just as well as our guards. More importantly, she has the ability to successfully play pressing defenses.  We are excited of the possibilities that she brings to our offense and defenses."

Labria Fulmore (5'7/Point Guard/Central Georgia Technical College)
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "Labria will bring another element to our backcourt. She is a strong and physical point guard that can beat you off the dribble as well as consistently knock down the mid-range jump shot. Labria will bring much needed depth in our defensive schemes because of her ability to play lock down on the ball defense, "

Teeuntra Moore (6'3/Center/Wabash Valley College)
Averaged 6 ppg, 6 rpg
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "Teeuntra will bring a physical presence in our post play.  We look for her to be a nice contrast to our up tempo style of play. She immediately gives us that half court offensive and defensive presence in the paint."

Ashley Huddleston (5'6/Guard/South Suburban College)
Averaged 16.9 ppg, 5 rpg
Comments from head coach King-Coleman - "Ashley will be another scorer for us that does all of the intangibles. We look for her to have an impact in several different aspects of the game. Whether it's, scoring, rebounding, steals, or assist she has the ability to fill up a stat sheet.  We look for her to be a big part in everything that we do."
