Frankfort, KY-The KSU men's basketball program suffer a tough loss at home to Stillman College.
KSU wasn't able to establish a solid run against Stillman in the first half. The 'Breds had trouble capitalizing off of Stillman's 15 first half turnovers. Shooting 37% from the field, hitting 10-27, the Thorobreds allowed Stillman to take a 23-30 lead by halftime. Guards

Patrick Dawson (Cincinnati, OH) led the team with 6 points.
KSU came into the 2
nd half still in a shooting slump but managed to pull together to rack up points off of Stillman turnovers. The Thorobred's bench contributed with 24 points to help tie the game up at 57 with 6:03 left in the game. Despite KSU's tenacity in the 2
nd half and
Kevin Smith's (Detroit, MI) 22 total points, the Thorobred's failed to gain a lead before the end of the game, falling to Stillman 79-72.
Stillman outrebounded KSU 42-35 and the Thorobreds shot 40% from the field.
Rakee Anderson and Jeremy Allen led Stillman with 15 points each.
