Frankfort, KY - KSU got a big win at home against visiting LeMoyne-Owen College 63-50.
In the first half, LeMoyne-Owen pushed their lead to six, but with 13:34 to play in the period, KSU regained the lead and never relinquished it, taking an 11-point lead at halftime.
The Thorobreds dominated the second half, pushing their 11-point halftime lead to 23 with 12:18 to play in the game.
Despite LOC's late game comeback, the Thorobreds shot a solid 47.6% from the field with three players finishing in double-digits.
Tony Johnson led all scorers with 18 points while grabbing 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
Patrick Dawson scored 16 and
William Marsh contributed with 15 points of his own.
KSU advances to 11-7 overall and 10-7 in the conference.
