Marco Sanchez serves as defensive backs/special teams coordinator at Kentucky State University.

Sanchez helped Kentucky State complete a historic 2025 season that included a 9-3 overall record, a 7-1 SIAC mark and the program's first NCAA Division II playoff appearance.

Under Sanchez's work with the secondary, Navy Curry earned first-team All-SIAC honors after leading the conference in interceptions per game and finishing with 147 return yards on four interceptions. The Thorobreds finished the season with 16 interceptions as a team.

Kentucky State also was perfect on PAT attempts in 2025, finishing 53-for-53.
