Isaiah Britt

Isaiah Britt joins the Kentucky State University’s women’s basketball team as a student assistant. He is responsible for player motivation, as well as assisting the coaching staff with practice and skill and player development for the guards and posts.

A native of Louisville, Ky., Britt attended the University of Louisville for two years (2004-2006), then transferred to Motlow State Community College for a year (2006-2007). He graduated from KSU in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education.

Prior to college, Britt played AAU ball for Team Louisville (1998-2002), winning the state championship in 2001 alongside Boston Celtics star, Rajon Rondo. He was a four-year starter at Louisville Seneca High School and a three-year started in football.

Britt aspires to be a collegiate coach and also work in the AAU circuit as a coach. He believes in mentoring youth through coaching. He has already begun that process, coaching defense and ball handling at the 2007 Camp Rondo and now as an assistant at KSU.
