FRANKFORT, Ky.  — Sitting atop the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) standings and ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II Super Region Two, Kentucky State football returns to Alumni Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 24, to host conference opponent Savannah State for Senior Day, Breast Cancer Awareness and Teacher Appreciation.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. as the Thorobreds look to build on their momentum following a commanding 55-22 victory over Lane College.

As part of the day's festivities, Kentucky State will recognize individuals impacted by breast cancer, with the Thorobreds wearing pink in a show of support and solidarity with those affected by the disease.

Prior to kickoff, Kentucky State will honor 20 senior football student-athletes for their dedication, leadership and contributions to the program. The senior class has played an instrumental role in the Thorobreds' success, helping elevate the program to the top of the SIAC standings and into the national and regional rankings.

In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day and as a show of gratitude to the campus community, Kentucky State University faculty and staff will each receive two complimentary tickets to Saturday's contest.

Fans are encouraged to join the Thorobreds at Alumni Stadium as Kentucky State continues its pursuit of an SIAC championship.
