Kentucky State Football to Appear Twice on ESPN+ This Season

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky State football will take center stage this fall with two marquee matchups set to be broadcast nationally on ESPN+, the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced Monday.

Kentucky State will make its first ESPN+ appearance of the season on Sept. 27 in a matchup against Savannah State. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Wright Stadium in Savannah, Georgia, marking the 12th meeting between the two programs with the all-time series currently tied at 6-6. The Thorobreds will look to gain the upper hand in the rivalry.

The second and final ESPN+ broadcast will feature Kentucky State on the road at Miles College on Oct. 4. Scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff in Fairfield, Alabama, the contest marks the 27th meeting between the Thorobreds and the Golden Bears.

All Kentucky State home football games this season will be streamed on the SIAC Network, beginning with the home opener on Sept. 6 against Albany State, followed by the Homecoming matchup with Edward Waters on Oct. 11 and a Nov. 1 contest against Clark Atlanta.
